The Richmond Chinese Community Network is an informal organization sponsored by the organization of Chinese Americans Central Virginia Chapter. In cooperation with the Chinese schools, Chinese organizations, and several local businesses, we are hoping to create more opportunities for local Chinese to connect with one another, regardless of demographic categories or national origin.

The Chinese Community is planning a public celebration of the Lunar New Year for 2009. Activities will include cultural performances, fun and games, and a Parade.

The Richmond Chinese Network is forming a Business Development committee.  The goal will be to identify Chinese-owned businesses and list them in a database.  The long-term goal will be to set up a monthly newspaper, funded by business advertising.
